Use this spreadsheet to track expenses incurred by a group and easily settle up.

 

Start by adding the names of the participants at the top of the spreadsheet. For each person who spent money, select their name from the dropdown, add a description of the item, and the amount spent, and finally indicate each person who should be sharing in that expense. 

Once all entries have been received, the summary table at the top shows who owes money and who is owed money.
