Welcome to Yencil

We are excited you have started selling your documents online. In today’s world, having a side hustle is a crucial part of taking care of your finances, and Yencil is a great way for people to generate a passive income.

First, you will need to sign up or log in to your Yencil account. Once logged in, you will see your Seller Dashboard – this is your central hub as a seller. Here you can manage your uploaded documents, create a storefront, view your account balance, and change your account settings.

Option 1 –

Once logged in, you can click the “Contribute” button in the top right and this will take you to the upload page.

Option 2 –

If you are within your Seller Dashboard, navigate to the Documents page – here you can manage your uploaded documents, including publishing or unpublishing documents, viewing the number of downloads, and the document’s rating.

To upload a new document, select “New” in the top right corner.

Upload Process

  1. Give your document a descriptive title and assign it a category using the drop down.
  2. Upload a document from your device or Google Drive – please note that the accepted file types are: .csv, .xlsx, .xlsm, .xls, .pdf, .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx
  3. Give your document a description to help people find it. You can provide your own product description or click the “Generate Description” button for Yencil Bot to draft one for you. We still recommend that you review the generated description before publishing.
  4. If you do not want to immediately publish your document to the marketplace, deselect the Auto-Publish button. Otherwise, click “Submit” and you’re done!

Before We Publish Your Document

Before your document is officially published to Yencil, we process your document. This process includes scanning your document for malware and taking screenshots for thumbnails. This process typically is complete within a few minutes, but may depend on the file type and size.

If your document is stuck in “Processing”, you have questions or need help, please email us at help@yencil.com
